Dear Beth,
After speaking with you last week about the Jefferson County management study, not only am I disappointed that my interview was not published, but I am also disappointed that our decision makers on the commissioners court has continued to disreguard the tax payer.
I'm going to be brief, although I am but an aging preacher who suffers from memory loss and other health issues stemming from time served in the Navy and eith the Army Department. I can tell you now that this so called Management Study is nothing but GAS identified by Hans Selye as a system of management technique that includes "alarm, resistance and exhaustion". Now here is the kiker, the tax payer was alarmed that we never had a chance to vote on Ford Pard.
Next, it seems that our county leaders have decided to resist any attempts by Jefferson County Tax Payers to exercise our constitutional rights to a government for the people and by the people. Instead they have decided to alloe us to fight against each other in a divade and conquer social wrestling match for jobes until we are exhausted.
Bottom Line:
Although my health is not what it use to be, but
i can remember some of what I was taught at Corpus Christi State University(now CCA&M), Delmar College, as well as Lamar University, and that is.
When financial trouble arises in any business. (1)A full financial accounting or financial audit by anindependent consulting firm or certified public accounting firm is orded to see what went wrong and were the money went or to follow the money trail.
After which, then a management study can be done for corrective action, to set up checks and balances and to help perpetuate better investment decisions.
